Project available to other organizations, venues
“River Stories: Views from an Iowa Watershed,” a community photo exhibit, took place last Sunday at the Town/Craft Center in Perry.
The exhibit was created by a group of six area women landowners this spring. The landowners provided a short presentation to introduce the exhibit.
Greene County landowners Chris Henning, Patti Edwardson and Colleen Radebaugh, along with Courtney Turnis, Jan Kaiser and Danielle Wirth took part in the project’ documenting their experiences in the watershed through photographs and short narratives, or “photostories.”
The photo exhibit is available for community venues or events. Please contact Angie Carter for more information at angiecarter@augustana.edu.
“River Stories: Views from an Iowa Watershed” is co-sponsored by Women, Food and Agriculture Network and the Raccoon River Watershed Association. The project is possible thanks to funding from the Leopold Center for Sustainable Agriculture at Iowa State University.
